But the patterns of our climate are changing before our very eyes, along with the intensity of its cycles. The political climate brings us to a new moment as well, one of both hope and uncertainty. And then there’s COVID.

Change. Loss. Hope. Much to consider. And much to cherish, including our own spirits.

I’m a rabbi, holistic teacher, interfaith chaplain, end of life doula, and poet. I have a healer’s spirit, and am dedicated to social, economic, and environmental justice. I live in Emeryville, CA with my beloved wife Ruth, with whom I’ve been happily partnered for over twenty-two years.
